Welcome to this week’s Weekly Wrap Up. We are doing something a little different On this week’s Wrap Up. Here is a preview of an exclusive event we are running in partnership with University of Suffolk at The Apex next week.
Time to Inspire
David Carson’s experimental style revolutionised the graphic design scene in the 1990s, making him one of the world’s most influential designers. A self-taught graphic designer with a degree in sociology.
Carson continues to work with a diverse roster of international and local clients, lectures frequently worldwide, and continues to surf his favourite break each winter in his front yard in the Caribbean. nucollage.001 explores his latest collage work and was created by Carson himself in California, Amsterdam, Barcelona and the Caribbean. This is Carson’s fifth book, following The End of Print, 2nd Sight, Fotografiks, and Trek.
We have designed and produced banners, posters, postcards and programmes all in-house. Our designs have all been inspired by quotes and layouts from David Carson’s nucollage.001 book. The 3m x 2m stage banners have been printed on our SwissQ printer, we also used our Epson 10-colour printers to print posters, wall vinyls and pull-up banners. The printed materials will certainly make an impact at The Apex.
