Welcome to this week’s Weekly Wrap Up. We’ve got something a little different for you this week – we are wrapping up all of 2019 in one post! Here are our favourite projects from the year.
Have a great Christmas and we will see you all in 2020!
David Carson LIVE!
Johnson Matthey Signage
Johnson Matthey rebranded at the end of 2018 and Coastline have been working on a range of signage projects with them to achieve brand consistency. This 6m internally illuminated sign was produced and fitted by us at the Johnson Matthey site in Royston. Overcoming some tricky access issues this was fitted 8m above a pedestrian walkway.
AC Webb Wrap
AC Webb have recently added a Fire Division to their services. To keep this new service looking as good as the rest of their fleet of vehicles they tasked our designers with the job of creating a full vehicle wrap design that is both new and different but also in-keeping with the recent logo rebrand we created for AC Webb. These two vehicles were fully wrapped in 3M’s quality IJ180 vinyl with a combination of gloss and matte laminates. They really stand out from all angles especially with the roofs also wrapped and look incredibly eye-catching!
We were also pleased to have won 3M’s Commercial Wrap of the Month for these vans.
Our 3M Authorised Vehicle Wrappers enjoyed working on this VW Transporter for Phoenix Cycleworks this week. Using 3M Gloss Fiery Orange, Gloss Liquid Copper and Gloss Lemon Sting they created this unique camo design. Also printing onto contravision vinyl we matched the bodywork and vinyl colours to complete the seamless design. This will certainly be a talking point at cycling events.
Patricia Rose Florist
A new florists in Lakenheath asked us to help them make their delivery van stand out. This has certainly been achieved with this explosion of flowers. We printed the design on 3M IJ1080 wrap vinyl using our Epson printers giving a bright crisp finish to the flowers, these really pop with the white background. With printed wrap we can create any design you can imagine.
This Nissan Navara is Axter’s flagship vehicle for the company, so they required a design to give impact but also have a corporate feel to it. Our design team created and produced this design which has certainly achieved the brief by using the strong green and black graphic while including quite a bit of white. Our 3M Authorised Vehicle Wrappers wrapped the truck with this design using 3M IJ180 printable wrap vinyl.
Nissan 350Z Wrap
At Coastline we love working on a project car which is kept under wraps until it’s revealed at an event. This year we wrapped a Nissan 350Z using some new materials and printing processes. The base wrap was 3M Plum Explosion and the design down the sides was printed on 3M reflective wrap vinyl then laminated with 3M Ruby overlaminate. The project car was unveiled at JapFest in May on the 3M stand and was joined by the Pioneer Subaru.
Kiezebrink asked us to design, produce and fit these bright and simple graphics to their 26tonne delivery lorry. Using our Epson large format printer we printed these graphics on to vinyl. The clarity in the images of the animals just shows the quality our printers are capable of.
Tristel’s new warehouse facility in Newmarket needed some large signage. Coastline supplied and installed two chunky sign trays. The fabricated aluminium trays have been painted matt purple to Tristel’s specified PANTONE reference with gloss vinyl logos applied.
Desert Camo Jeep
This client asked us to design, produce and fit this desert camo wrap on their Jeep. Our 3M Authorised Vehicle Wrappers used printed 3M IJ180 wrap vinyl with the camo design, to create the seamless look. The Jeep looks awesome and is really different from other wraps we’ve completed recently, would be great seeing this doing a bit of off-roading!
Theatre Star Trail
The theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds has been celebrating their 200th Anniversary. As one of the oldest active theatres in the UK and a huge cultural asset to Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas, it was an anniversary worth celebrating!
One of the events commemorating this anniversary was the Theatre Star Trail. The trail around the town centre challenged the public to find the 25 stars, each with a named performer, who has trodden the boards at the Theatre Royal.
We were delighted to have designed the logo and branding for the trail and as well as the stars and leaflets which featured the map showing the locations of the stars. We printed stars onto a special ‘Street Wrap’ material laminated with anti-slip lamination and applied these directly to the pavement.
This is possibly one of the largest vehicle wraps we have worked on this year. Our vehicle wrappers used 3M 2080 Gloss Black wrap to do a complete colour change on the cab. The roof has also been wrapped. We then overlaid printed vinyl logos down both sides so the vehicle fitted in with the rest of the companies branding. It doesn’t seem possible that this cab was white at the beginning of the week.
