Sign Maker / Fitter

An ever-expanding division of the business, we are looking for someone to join our Sign Making and Fitting team.
We produce all work in-house using state of the art equipment, supplying and fitting signage and graphics for companies across the UK.
Working in our fast paced environment, you will be expected to work with a wide range of substrates including di-bond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and foamex,  to a consistently high standard. Conducting quality controlling of signs prior to production/distribution will be required to ensure standards are met in line with our client expectation.
You will be expected and able to work both on and off site, so a full UK Driving Licence will be beneficial.
You will possess:
  • Ability to safely and effectively use provided equipment and tools to produce products.
  • Health and safety knowledge, able to uphold procedures throughout the production and installation process.
  • Strong team working skills, able to liaise with colleagues to ensure tight deadlines are met
  • Responsible approach to all working, taking ownership company vehicles and their contents
  • Good physical fitness, able to work with heavy items and often at height
  • Sign fitting knowledge and knowledge of machinery and tools associated beneficial
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work; proactive
Work hours 40 Per week: 08:30 – 17:30 with the opportunity of overtime as and when required by the business, potential for occasional weekend working.
Pay negotiable dependent on experience.

Graphic Designer

We are looking to add a creative graphic designer to our team. Coastline Graphics is well established in many fields of visual communication. Based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, we are looking for a talented and creative graphic designer to contribute their skills in a wide range of design projects.

Candidates should have industry experience, be extremely motivated, cope well in a fast-paced, varied environment with a need to impress in everything they undertake.

Hours will be Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (40 hours per week).

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Graphic Designer with experience in Adobe software.

Sign Production / Fitting

We are currently recruiting for a Sign Maker. The vacancy available is on a full-time basis (40 hours a week).

We are currently looking to add the right candidate to our production team. We are looking for someone with efficient skills in time management and can work well as part of a team.

Successful candidates will be invited for an interview where they will show a good understanding of the work we require and an exceptional level of motivation.

Shift Patterns: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

We can offer a competitive salary dependant on experience.

Out of hours and weekend work may be required during busy periods.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience in sign-making and applying vinyl and digital prints to a wide range of substrates essential
  • Experience in using large format printers and general sign making software is desirable
  • IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations would be advantageous
  • Clean driving license essential
  • The ability to work under pressure meeting tight deadlines
  • Capable of working alone or as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to interpret briefs accurately and use techniques with confidence
  • Complete paperwork as required
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety in the Workplace

Digital Print & Production Worker

We are currently looking to add the right candidate to our production team. We are looking for someone with efficient skills in time management and can work well as part of a team.

You will be an essential member of the workforce, overseeing work between different departments; receiving jobs from the design department and printing graphics ready for fitting to vehicles & signs, as well as printing stationery and other artwork.

Successful candidates will be invited for an interview where they will show a good understanding of the work we require and an exceptional level of motivation.

You do not need any experience for this role but you will have to be confident on computers and also very hands on and able to work machinery.

Shift Patterns: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Our ideal candidate will be:

Your duties will include:

  • Operating digital printing machines, cutting machine and laminator
  • Production and finishing of digital graphics including: labels, posters, panels, printed vinyl and banners.
  • You will be given in house training in the setting up and running of the large format inkjet printer, flatbed UV inkjet, digital cutting machines and laminator.
  • You will be expected to liaise directly with customers where necessary.
